CASE #14 (Part 1):
LinkedIn’s Dan Roth asks speakers on where technology will be… and the world?

INSIGHTS+OUTLOOK
The digital buzz may distract us from noticing a marked divide between HAVE DIGITIZED’s and HAVE NOTS.

Yet as we connect “everything and everyone”, the problem is quickly global. The concern is not merely an untapped market potential: any ecosystem eventually corrects severe imbalances.

Here’s a snapshot:
Basic access: 6% of suburban; 9% urban; 15% rural US adults have no access. Of households without internet, 25% actually do not want access.
Broadband: Per FCC, 25Mbps+ is not available to 21.3Mn US people. Microsoft found 157.3Mn don’t have broadband access.

Connected Devices: 2014-2019 compounded growth-rates: N America 14%; Europe 12-13%; Asia Pacific 11%; Latin America 9%; ME & Africa 9%.

CHALLENGE:
