Case #02: LG Transparent OLED

In a larger frame, which modes of access and delivery, absence and presence, has the pandemic changed? Then culturally: which behaviors and expectations?

LG OLED up to 140cm, now 40% transparent: A semi-assembled display, for signage installation designed to fit various structures and spaces.

INSIGHTS+OUTLOOK:
The COVID19 will be lingering longer in multiple variants, likely to become part of “normal”, much as flus and superviruses are. What improvisations will be standardized into permanent designs? Think of sanitation dispenser stations; no-touch entrances; congregation spaces; group seating and conference tables. LG can flip the pandemic isolation partitions ( e.g., “sneeze screens”) from ugly improvisations, to a “trans-face” for both information and interactions.

Transparent screens for conference tables, allowing full interactions, with semi-transparent work screen areas?

CHALLENGE:
In a larger frame, which modes of access and delivery, absence and presence, has the pandemic changed? Then culturally: which behaviors and expectations?
